What is the difference between the standard and the premium HC books? The flavor and feel of the setting has been sapped away, plot hooks resolved, and history retconned. This is really only good for 5E conversions of monsters and mechanics from 3E.
And even the mechanical updates are dubious because the authors decided that the PC races should be more powerful than 5E player races typically are.
